Try spreying carb cleaner in the air intake- throttle body if it starts its a fuel issue just because you have fuel pressure does not mean it is getting into the cylnders i have seen on alot of these cars the crank shaft sensor is a issue to keys auto repair

It may be an issue with your fuel pump, your fuel delivery lines, or your fuel injectors. You can check to see if your fuel pump has pressure by turning your ignition just short of cranking over, to where your dashboard lights come on. If you hear a buzzing sound, your fuel pump is priming itself indicating it has pressure. My opinion, fill up your tank with premium gas (regular is acceptable) and dump at least 12 ounces of Seafoam auto marine cleaner in it. Its literally a tuneup in a can. One ounce of seafoam per gallon of fuel should give you an idea of how much to put in, depending on how many gallons your tank holds. Its around 10 dollars per can but worth every cent without a doubt. Try this and get back to me. If your check engine light does not come on while driving then it will be difficult to find a code to know what's wrong, which generally results in an intermittent problem that will not throw a code, such as a fuel pump

by the way you should change your spark plugs every 30,000 miles

My 2012 Volvo S80 was fine then stalled out while driving has gas and oil the codes are c02 cylinder #3 misfire #5 misfire and random misfire what does that mean? What parts do I need?

Cylinders need 3 things to fire. Fuel/air, compression and spark. The codes say 3 & 5 are misfiring. Normally one starts with confirming you have good spark. If the plugs are good, as in don't have to many miles on them. Then you may need to check the coils. If it will run at all, I would then swap those 2 coils with 1 & 4. Reset codes. Run it until the CEL come on and see of the codes follow the coils, if so replace them. If it wont start at all, check for proper fuel pressure, because it should start and run rough if only 2 cylinders are mis-firing.

I have a van that cranks but no start. i have spark and fuel pressure at the shrader valve but still wont start

Try changing the ignition coil. Had same thing the other day. But a spark outside the cylinder does not need the pizzaz as when it is in the cylinder. When the air is compressed in cylinder and the molecules are packed much tighter together it takes a really hot spark to jump the gap. A weak spark will jump the gap when you test for spark outside the engine but not be able to do the job in the cylinder.

My 97 Acura 4cyl manual trans won't start because spark is not happening at right time.

If you have not removed the distributor, and you are sure you have good compression, it would have to be a broken distributor.
The distributor is driven off the cam.

I have a 2008 dodge avenger se and my engine light is on and was flashing before. when it is in drive or park it turns off when i stop. i took it to auto zone and the told me that cylinder 3 and 4 misfire...

Possible causes:
Faulty spark plug
Clogged or faulty fuel injector
Faulty ignition coil
Fuel injector
Harness is open or shorted
Fuel injector circuit has poor electrical connection
Ignition coil harness is open or shorted
Ignition coil circuit poor electrical connection
Insufficient cylinder compression
Incorrect fuel pressure
Intake air leak

The P0304 code means that the cylinder 4 is misfiring or is randomly misfiring. Start by checking for intake leaks and if no leaks are found the next step is to replace the spark plugs on cylinder 4.

1991 4.3L GMC Jimmy S-15 will not start. Turns over, but does not start. Replace spark plugs and wires, ignition coil, module checked good. The plugs are gettin fire but not sending it to the motor?

You need 3 things.
Compression
Good hot blue spark to all plugs.
Good gasoline and proper fuel pressure. 13-13.5 lbs on your TBI
If you have all 3 then move on to injector pulse to both injectors.

Keep me posted and recheck your spark plug wire to make sure they are not crossed. firing order 1-2-3-4-5-6 cylinder # passenger side 1-3-5 front to back. cylinder # drivers side 2-4-6 front to back
distributor #1 is located at the 7 o"clock and rotates clock wise so next distributor post on the right working clock wise is #2. Good luck and hope this helps.
