The front brakes are good at 30000 mile intervals ,because they do most of the stopping power. 50 to 60000 miles is about normal on the rear brakes. The most common ailment with rear brakes is the emergency brake not releasing. The cables for the emergency brake run under the jeep ,along the frame and rust keeps them from releasing

You have a problem with the release for the emergency brake and that causes some friction which in turn causes the rotors to wear uneven.
They should give you the option of skimming them if it is possible, it would not be possible if the rotors were too worn or they are too thin, some cars come with thin ones that cannot be skimmed.
