if you follow the pipe does it go towards the transmission ? if so it's for the trans cooler. If not it will be the escape hose incase of overheating/to much pressure in the coolant system , if you go to a parts retailer like autozone they will have the part named on their data system , its a bit difficult without seeing vehicle to name parts . although you have given a good description, the lower rad hose carries cooled coolant so i would think it's the trans cooler but check at autozone or similar
FWD car blues...... what engine option? if you cant reach the clamps with simple accesory parts removal. then its FWD blues. front wheel drive, , id say check the FSM. or alldata.com for how to do this. there is no magic here, how to reach things, depends on persons size too. so.????? did you look under the fender for access plates? behind tire>

12-radiator ....

well its bound to make a little mess but you should have a drain plug on the radiator at the bottom towards the engine side on one of the 2 tanks (sides of radiator ) unscrew drain plug and let drain into a pail or pan ( 2 gallon ) after it drains remove lower radiator hose. use a garden hose and fill radiator and let it flush for a little, hook lower radiator hose back, tighten drain plug and fill with a 50/50 mix new antifreeze,
90000 km service includes changing.spark plugs, oil and oil filter, gearbox fluid, brake fluid ,air filter and fuel filter if needed,a full safty inspection.and the most important timing belt, and while your doing the timing belt you should do the water pump.
Its the upper radiator hose should be located topside beside the engine oil dipstick, any smaller hoses you have running into the radiator are heater hoses, the lower radiator hose is where coolant enters from radiator into engine and is pumped up with water pump thru water jackets in engine and eventually returns thru the upper radiator hose which is most prone to damage due to splitting and cracking, I hope this helped.
