Open the hood, look straight down and you will see it in front of and to the right of the radiator, beneath the driver side head light assembly. Save your self some time, pull the two wire plug connector off and jump the horn directly to the battery with a jumper wire made from an old extension cord. If the horn honks, it is good, if not, go get a replacement at a junkyard and replace the it. Look in your owners manual for fuse panel locations, there is a small one under the hood and a larger one to the left of your passenger's knee under a velcro panel. The horn relay will be plugged into one or the other.

Were is horn relay for sc1 1.9 4 cyl. saturn 1999

The horn system consists of a single horn, a horn relay located in the underhood fuse block, and driver controlled horn switch in the steering wheel. The horn system is designed to provide the driver with an audible warning to signal pedestrians, other drivers, etc.
Operation
Voltage is supplied to the horn relay coil and contacts at all times through a 10 amp HORN fuse, located in the underhood fuse block. When the driver pushes the horn pad, driver air bag module, the circuit completes and energizes the horn relay coil. This causes the horn relay contact to close. When the contact closes, current travels to the horn and the horn emits an audible warning.

98 Saturn sc1 horn burnt out tested wires with a light tester all seem to work properly. New horn is Will Low Tone horn with 2 terminals. Old horn had internal relay so obviously I'd need a new relay. How...

If the old horn had one terminal than the horn was grounding through the spot where it monted to the car. The new horn has two terminals so one is power and one is ground. Hook the wire from the car to the power side. Make a jumper wire from the ground side of the horn to the spot it mounts to the car. Make sure that spot is clean metal so the wire makes good contact.

Horn keep beeping

Get your owner's manual out of the glovebox and find the fuse panel. I believe it is behind a velcro attached panel to the left of the front passenger's knee. When you take the cover off there is a paper in there explaining what each thing is. Locate the horn relay and pull it out, that will quiet the horn. Possibly the relay is bad and replacement could fix it, however I would put my money on the switch in the steering wheel being bad. If you cannot find the horn relay, look under the front left bumper in front of the battery and just pull the wires off the horn itself to quiet the thing.

98 Saturn SL1, Was in accident: Deployed Airbags & Horn questions

The light should go out after you replace the sensor that should be in the front of the vehicle. You can check the fuse for the horn. However, some of the airbags that don't come from a dealers, don't deploy, but there is no way of knowing that until you are in an accident.

97 Saturn SL1 horn fuse keeps blowing when installed.

Sounds like you have short to ground somewhere, I would check the wires near the horn itself and if they are ok check the clock spring.

I just bought a 1998 Saturn SL1. The only problem with it is the horn. It wont work I push the button and nothing happens, and the circut is'nt the problem. Can someone explain to me what i need to do, and...

see if you can find the horn itself (often behind the grill) and test it by applying 12v and ground directly to the two terminals (you can use jumper wires to the battery terminals or a portable jump starter). if it blows it rules out the horn. if it doesn't it is the switch, fuse/relay or wiring.

Can:t find horn relay location on 1998 saturn sl-1

They relay is on the horn itself. That's why a replacement horn is a dealer only item that's $85. You may need to do some creative wiring with a generic relay. Good luck.
