How many miles are on the engine? Have you tried to replace the oil pressure switch? is the engine making any type of noise due to low pressure reading?
What are your guages reading? The CPU thinks it see's a problem.
My oil pressure would drop and my light would come on.
Oil, Charge, all could cause a check guage light.
Same part...make sure you get one for gauge, not idiot light though. If the engine has any knocking or ticking when pressure drops do not drive it and have a mechanical gauge installed to check actual pressure. Parts often have different names for same item...your driveshaft is actually called a propeller shaft!!!
if the engine is running normal and there are no odd sounds from engine. probably needs oil pressure switch or bad connection at switch. any ticking noises and i would have pressure checked with guage
