I would say it is your break switch. It is located under the dash, above your gas and break pedal. This will solve your problem my friend.

Why does my 2000 Chrysler Cirrus blow the fuse for the brake lights every time I hook up the trailer ?

The wiring harness to the lights on the trailer might shorted somewhere. Trace the wires to the lights looking for a bare spot or chaffed area.

Short in rear tail light assembly no back up lights no brake lights on drivers side only 1995 cirrus

Could be a bulb that has blown and shorted out internally - so test all bulb resistances b4 looking elsewhere.
