Engine drops speed when I press gas pedal

Most lights are reset by turning the key on, press the fuel/gas pedal three times within five seconds, slowly. Wait for the flashing to stop. turn off the key. it rests. Others take a scanner to reset. Depending on year.

Start with a complete tune up. Plugs ,wires,fuel and air filter.

Transmission band slipping.

check your throttle pedal position switch and your throttle position sensor

what car is it? your car using carb or fuel injection

Sounds like throttle position sensor is not working properly.

I have a a 99 gs 300, check engine light is on as well as the vsc light. What is that and needs to be to done to fix it.

This may been an ignition module or a MAF sensor, this car may need to be diagnosed using a OBD I computer code reader to accurately diagnose the problem.

Start with IAC motor, TPS sensor, possible clogged catalytic converter.

You may want to try checking the gas filter because my car also had that problem and it was the gasoline filter that had somehow got water in it and was completly damaged. I'm not a complete expert but I'm only basing myself on what my car had that did exactly the same thing as yours.
