All the codes point to throttle body. clean throttle body, especially around throttle plate. check for loose wires, if problems persist. replace throttle body. p2104 is tac system forced idle, p2111 is tac system stuck open, p2112 is tac system stuck closed. clean throttle body good, and see if this fixes it. then go from there. have a good day !!

I have 2005 Ford Freestyle with these engine codes P2104 P2112 what can I do to fix

P2104 - Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System - Forced Idle Description: The TAC system is in the failure mode effects management (FMEM) mode of forced idle. Possible Causes:
  • Open or short in multiple accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor circuits.
  • Damaged APP sensor.
  • Damaged powertrain control module (PCM).
Diagnostic Aids: This DTC is an informational DTC and can be set in combination with a number of other DTCs which are causing the FMEM. Diagnose other DTCs first. Application Key On Engine Off Key On Engine Running Continuous Memory All GO to QE1

P2112 - Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System - Stuck Closed. Description: This powertrain control module (PCM) fault status indicates the throttle plate is at a lower angle than commanded. Possible Causes:
  • Binding throttle body, stuck closed.
  • Damaged PCM.
Diagnostic Aids: Application Key On Engine Off Key On Engine Running Continuous Memory All GO to DV1

My codes that keep coming up are p2111, p2104, and p2112. Do you think i need a new throttle position sensor?

The Freestyle has a revised (non-heated) Throttle body replacement kit that cures the problem. That's what you need...

After washing engine on 2006 mustang gt codes p2104 p2111

P2104 is your throttle actuator. Probably wet the sensor. Try drying out with a hair dryer. P2111 is also a throttle code. Overnight the water has condensed and is affecting throttle position sensor.

I got codes P 2104 & P 2112 - what is this and how can it be sloved?

P2104 - Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System - Forced Idle
P2112 - Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) System - Stuck Closed.
P2104 was set because the pcm had to step in to set the idle. The TAC system is in the failure mode effects management (FMEM) mode of forced idle. P2104 is just an informative code, set because of P2112. P2112 possible causes: Binding throttle body, stuck closed or
Damaged PCM

tell your dealer technician to follow pinpoint test DV1 in the workshop manual. (but also to reference test QE1) DV1 deals with him/her checking the throttle position voltages, if these voltages are not within spec, proceeding with checking for obstructions in the throttle body, then if this passes, he/she checks the wiring to the TAC assembly. there are many steps in this test and since the truck isnt here i can't tell you where the test will go (throttle body assembly, PCM, etc.) most likely it will be the throttle position sensor which is a part of the throttle body assembly or a simple connector coming unplugged or wiring being cut, but once again since i dont have the truck in front of me i can't be 100% sure. good luck. hope this helps.

P2104 P2112 P2111 My 2005 Expedition continues to cut off and the engine light comes on. After a few miles the light goes off. Then the problem starts all over again.

The p2104 code was set because the PCM had to set the idle speed, the p2112 was set to indicate that your throttle body was stuck closed. You can try to remove the throttle body and clean it, check to ensure that it opens smoothly, check the TPS connector to ensure that it is plugged in correctly, reset the light and if the problem returns, you will probably have to install a new throttle body assembly. Hope this helps, let me know
