HOW DO I REMOVE THE FRONT SEATS FROM MY 95 NISSAN MAXIMA..... MY ROD IS DIRTY AND I NEED TO GET IT OUT AND WASH IT BUT DON'T DON'T KNOW HOW TO REMOVE MY FRONT SEATS
Re: REMOVING MY FRONT SEATS FROM MY 95 NISSAN MAXIMA
There are 4 bolts holding the seat to the floor. 2 in front and 2 in rear. You will need 14mm socket and ratchet or wrench. You will also have to unplug some connectors under the seat, before you take it out of the car.

using a flashlight or drop cord, look under left front fender or under hood, for a pull out receptacle which will be dirty, dusty, turn the unit left or right to remove from the headlight socket, remove bulb unit, install new bulb and reinstall the reverse of removal...

Typically, seats jamb fit at the rear and have a spring piece that engauges at the front. To realease, the seat gets moved rearward about 1/2 inch and then pulls up in the front.... Compress the rear of the seat and it takes kind of a lot of force to move the entire seat rearward, but that is what you do....
Unless you have torches, take it to a garage, if you screw up the threads you are looking at a new pipe, if it is the front sensor it will be ahead of the cat converter,on some models you can open the hood and look down at the exhaust and see it right there.you will also need a speacial socket to remove this or if you are sure, you can cut the wires and use a 7/8" box end wrench.Your car is 14yrs old so don't ecpect it to "turn right out"
