Where is the neutral safety switch located on my 2008 Jeep wrangler?

Sounds like you're starting at the expensive end and working backwards! First, check your battery, make sure it has a good charge. Second step is the starter solenoid. Some designs have external solenoids, some are internal. Third is the starter itself. Once you are sure all that stuff is good, THEN it's time to start looking for the neutral safety switch.

The check engine light is meaningless when the engine is not running.

When i turn my key no power on dash nothing

I had the exact same issue many years ago on my 87 Wrangler. Sounds like you have blown the Fuseible Link. This is the first 6" to 10" of the smaller wire at the positive lead from the battery. If you draw to much current through this wire it will "melt" the wire inside the plastic coating just as a fuse would melt the metal inside of the caseing. You can get a replacement section at your local parts house.Do not by-pass this section as if you have a short in the wireing it could cause a fire and or melt your electrical system.

2000 jeep wrangler - starts and then will die while driving. Battery replaced, starter replaced, alternator checks out okay. Could it be the solenoid?

The solenoid causes the starter to engage when the ignition switch is turned to start. If the car starts, the solenoid is probably okay.

Sounds more like a fuel delivery problem.

When I try starting my 2000 Jeep Wrangler I hear a clicking noise but that is all. I was told to tap on the starter solenoid while turning the key but I don't know where the solenoid is located. Can yo...

the starter solenoid is on top of the starter, the starter is on the bottom rear of engine, the problem u are discribing is a defective starter solenoid, with this type of starter I doubt that tapping on it will make the truck start, u will need to replace the starter solenoid.

Jeep wrangler won't start

Find the neutral sefety switch and 99% chance, you have found the problem. generally on stickshift cars, the switch is above the clutch pedal, not on the transmission.
