I'm needing a diagram for the spark plugs

Here is the firing order and spark plug wire routing diagram for a 2006 Chevy Impala LT 3.9 V6:
Firing order: 1-2-3-4-5-6
Spark plug wire routing (starting from the driver's side):
  • Cylinder 1: connect to the coil tower closest to the driver's side headlight
  • Cylinder 3: connect to the coil tower next to cylinder 1
  • Cylinder 5: connect to the coil tower next to cylinder 3
  • Cylinder 2: connect to the coil tower closest to the passenger side headlight
  • Cylinder 4: connect to the coil tower next to cylinder 2
  • Cylinder 6: connect to the coil tower next to cylinder 4
Note: Make sure to route the wires properly to avoid cross-firing.

2003 ford windstar spark plug wires diagram

I\'m assuming you have the 3.8 engine, although i believe the firing order is the same on all there v6 sideways mounted front wheel drive Windstars. That firing order is 1-4-2-5-3-6, with 1-2-3 going from left to right on the back side of the engine and 4-5-6 left to right on the front side of the engine.Looking straight down at the coil from the front of the car,you\'ll see 2 rows of coil terminals. The row on the right side is 1-2-3 going from top to bottom, row on left side is 6-5-4 going from top to bottom. Hook the number 1 coil terminal to the number 1 spark plug ,being careful to use the spark plug wire that is closest in length to the length you need. If your just replacing wires, yuo shouldn\'t have to much trouble. If your nreplacing the spark plugs you will find the ones in the rear, especially the number 2 [the middle one} are pretty difficult without removing the cowling. A total pain brought to you by the designers at Ford!

Describe your how fix my pontiac 2000 montana Problem changing spark plugs

Inspection

Inspect for the correct routing of the spark plug wires. Improper routing may cause cross-firing. Inspect each wire for any signs of cranks or splits in the wire. Inspect each plug wire boot for tearing, piercing, arcing, carbon tracking or a corroded terminal.
If there is any corrosion, carbon tracking or arcing indicated on a plug wire boot or terminal, both the plug wire and component it was connected to should be replaced.

How do i change the wires and plug wires om my taurus?

Follow the wires from your ignition coil (located at the drivers side of the engine) to the spark plugs. Unplug these wires. Using a 5/8" sprak plug socket (deep well with a bit of rubber at the bottom to protect the union of the wire to the plug), unthread the spark plugs. Place new plugs in the cylinder heads (you can use a thread protector available at the counter of most auto parts stores). Plug your new wires into the newly installed new spark plugs. The ignition coil has a diagram telling you which port is for which cylinder. On the V-6 3.0L Vulcan engine the rear bank from left to right is 1-2-3 and the front bank from left to right is 4-5-6. There you have it.
