Recently had similar problem 307 55 hdi engine code RHR getting p1445 + p1435. Hooked car up to launch 431 code reader got p1445 purge flow sensor circuit high input. pa435 a/c ref temp circuit range/performance no contact. Then hooked to snap on ethos p1445 diesel additive system quantity too high. p1435 diesel additive system incorrect message from can bus. checked tank level 1/3-1/2 tank about right for 55k fired pump by shorting briefly appeared to work as youd expect. few hours later after dismantleing most of car looking for depolution ecu stumped ! next day dropped in to local peugeot dealer who i know well after a conflab they agreed these are common codes easy solution! The depolution ecu is found either beside the passenger seat (left) against the sill or depending on where its built behind the fuse board/glove box (where this one was) just remove felt under glove box look up with torch behind fuse board youll see big relay type unit with slide out release (red) unplug clean (toothbrush w40) apply vv slight pressure to pins to adjust contact, refit, clear codes job done !! Common problem apparently worked for me easy & simple place to start !

SOURCE: "when do i change the cam belt on a peugeot 307 sw diesel"

usually you should do it for peugeot diesel at 122000 miles along with water pump and the tensioner roller that runs under the cambelt too. But to be on the safe side do it at 100000 and save the fortune.
It took me (DIY job) about 6-8 hours as i wanted to save 450 pounds.

SOURCE: injectors

Injectors from the same ccm engine are most probably sounds same but to be on the safe side check not only the shape but code on the top of injector too. Because they are piezo effect injectors and set by the manufacture for a specific pressure for specific engine codes.

How do you fix code p1589 in Toyota Vitz?

P1589- Acceleration sensor learning.
Zero Point Calibration Using Jumper wire

The following manual procedure may be used in the cases where a Diagnostic Tester is
not available.

CAUTION:
While performing the Zero Point Calibration, do NOT tilt, move, or shake the vehicle.
The vehicle must remain in a stationary condition throughout the entire process.
Be sure to perform the procedure on a level surface with an inclination of less than 1%.

1. If the vehicle is equipped with A/T, ensure that the shift lever is in the "P" range and
the parking brake is applied. If the vehicle is equipped with a M/T, ensure that the
parking brake is applied.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
3. Using the SST, repeat a cycle of short and open between terminals Ts and CG of
DLC3 4 times or more within 8 seconds (refer to the specific vehicle EWD for TS and
CG pin location in the DLC3).
4. Verify that the VSC indicator light is lit indicating the recorded zero point is erased.
5. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
6. Be sure the terminals Ts and CG of DLC3 are disconnected.
7. Turn the ignition switch ON.
8. Check that the VSC warning light goes off about 15 seconds after the ignition switch
is turned ON.
9. After ensuring that the VSC warning light remains OFF for 2 seconds, turn the ignition
switch OFF.
10. Connect terminals Ts and CG of DLC3 using the SST.
11. Turn the ignition switch ON.
12. After turning the ignition switch ON, check that the VSC warning light is lit for about
4 seconds and then starts quick blinking at 0.13 second intervals.
13. After ensuring the blinking of the VSC warning light for 2 seconds, turn the ignition
switch OFF.
14. Remove the SST from terminals Ts and CG of DLC3.
15. Drive the vehicle for at least 5 minutes to confirm Zero Point Calibration is complete.
IF FAILED REPLACE THE BRAKE ACTUATOR - SKID CONTROL ECU.

I have a red dash light lit. It is an exclamation in a trialngle with a counter clockwise circle around it. Can anyone tell me what it means? I drive an Audi A4 2005

ASR - Acceleration Skid Control system.
When ASR warning light blinking the system is activated itself for car acceleration skid control.

For today's typical high-torque engines, traction control (ASR) can increase both comfort and safety, particularly when driving on slippery roads or surfaces offering differing levels of grip. Traction control permits smooth starting and acceleration through the full speed range without wheel-spin or fishtailing.

tdisline_338.jpg

ASR only operates in conjunction with the electronic accelerator (E-gas) and uses components of the anti-lock braking system (ABS). If one wheel suddenly begins to rotate faster than the others (slip), ASR intervenes in the engine management system and reduces power until the wheel stops spinning.
The ASR system represents a further contribution to active safety as it maintains vehicle traction and directional stability throughout the acceleration phase at any speed. In addition, it reduces tyre wear. Activation of the ASR system is indicated by a flashing indicator lamp in the instrument cluster.
The ESP system means the Electronic Stability Program. If the ESP lights on the dashboard permanently the ESP system is faulty. You must access the ESP Electronic Control Unit (ECU) memory for pull out all DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Codes), using diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector of the car. Then you will be full informed about bad pieces (e.g.: front right wheel abs sensor interrupted, ...). After bad pieces replacement you will be able to erase all faults memored by ESP ECU, in other words reset the ESP system and turn off the warning lamp on dashboard.

Rev limiter is at 6000rpm not 8500rpm

Hi Peter,

With such high revving engines (me being a Honda fanatic) you need to keep an eye on oil levels. Check the level, top up as necessary. Without the correct amount of oil in, the oil pressure cannot stimulate the switch over cam, which takes it to 8500rpm.

Also, please don't rev you car without load (ie. standing still), this causes valve lash and is detrimental to the engine. Again, please do not rev your car hard without letting the oil get up to temperature or it won't last long :)

Once you check your oil, reset the ECU by pulling the battery lead off for around 20 minutes.

Good luck and have a blast. Could you vote for me if this helps you. Thanks.

After accidentally going thru a carwash with driver's side window partially open, the red SRS red light on my dashboard has been lit. Could this just be due to the water, or is my safety system disabled?

Hi, if the light is on then the whole system is disabled, it seems likely that water has found some of the sensors or wiring and the ecu has detected a wrong level, give it a day or so to dry out (dont hit anything!!) and you might need the code reset.

I have a 1999 Audi A6 avant. The brake, abs, oil warning lights and warning signal intermitantly all come on. However there are no mecanical problems and the oil levels are fine etc. It appears to be...

Check the oil sending unit for leaks.

Check the valve cover gasket for leaks that trigged down to the oil sending unit.

===

Oil sending send intermittent ZERO or low PSI data to the computer ECU.

It will triggle OBDII error code.

When you get a solid light the pull the code on reply.

======

Check for oil leak around the engine.
