There's a clunking sound that gets louder and louder whenever I'm making a turn and go over bumps in the road. It seems to be coming from the front end of the car. Most prominent on the drivers side. I'm driving a 2006 Cobalt LT Sedan.

Bad control arm bushings, worn ball joints, worn inner/outer tie rod ends.

could be a number of things, like a bad brake, bad ball joint or a problem with a control arm

It sounds as though you have a c/v joint going out on your Neon. If you intend to repair it yourself, the replacement part is around $40-$50.

That would be the frame rivets creaking and poking. You need the dealer to address this properly.

It's hard to tell, from your description, as to the extent of the clunking.
If it seems to only and constantly occur whenever in forward motion, bumps or not, then I would first check your rear differential, (if 4x4 then your front differential as well).
Check fluid level(s) and if okay, remove cover and check for worn gears and any metal shavings on the magnet on bottom of housing.

Worn gears can toss your vehicle around, any make stomach turning clunks and other awful noises. I've recently replaced a front differential on a 1994 Dakota. It would make same clunks as you describe and a few times would make my back end seem to 'hop' while driving highway speeds. I would check this quickly.

If it only seems to happen over bumps, then your guess on engine mounts or bushings is probably the best guess.

It sounds like pads against the rotors. Does it get louder or stop when applying the brakes?May be a stone or maybe just rust or maybe you need brakes looked at.

have your CV joints checked. If the CV joint boots crack, the joint will lose all the grease and accumilate dirt. This will cause a metal grind/ping when making turns. If ignored, it may cause the joint to break causing the vehicle to be stationary and unable to move. Hopefully this help!!

I have 3 2005 Malibus - 1 Maxx LT, 1 Sedan LT, and 1 Sedan LS. All three needed to have the steering rod replaced by 50K miles. You'd feel a muted clunk through the wheel when turning. The other light clunk issue I had with the Maxx was I hit a parking curb and it broke the lower radiator bracket. In certain bumps you'd feel a light clunk. A new $22 bracket fixed the issue and now I make sure I never pull too far into the spaces in the garage at work.
