I'm looking to change my PCV valve for my 1993 Ford Explorer but I can't find where it is located under the hood. I used a diagram from a 1998 but that didn't help. Anywhere I can get a diagram for the 1993.

Here's a link to your pcv valve. Here's what it look's like, has a vacuum hose connected to it with clamp, just remove clamp and hose, get wrench and remove, shake it,if part on inside moves back and forth, then it is good.
Hello! Here is a diagram of PCV location and access/change procedure...Guru...Saailer
Remove the air cleaner housing to intake/throttle housing. Remove the
shield over the throttle springs. Disconnect the cruise control and
accelerator cables. Remove the throttle cable mounting bracket, push
wiring harness out of your way. Disconnect the PCV hose at the intake
manifold and remove the PCV valve.
The pcv is located under the intake manifold and sucks fumes out of the lifter valley. Unfortunately, the intake manifold has to come off to service it.
Below is a diagram of your PCV valve. It's not a difficult repair to perform yourself as it's easily accessible. A clogged PCV wouldn't normally send oil throughout the hood. This is more likely a valve cover gasket. Look for pools of oil surrounding the valve cover. If you find seepage there, you've located the source of your oil consumption.
http://www.focushacks.com/images/pcv.jpg Here's a picture to locate it.. So, when looking at the engine from above, on the right of the exhaust. Procedure to replace it 1) Lift and support the front end of your car, or drive up on ramps 2) Get under the front of your car. The PCV Valve is located behind the exhaust manifold, a few inches below the valve cover. 3) Push up on the PCV valve to pop it out of the tube, or pull. You can get it out of the rubber tube with some effort. 4) Remove the rubber elbow from the top of the PCV valve. This can be re-used if it's not squishy. It can also be replaced cheaply. 5) Put the elbow on the new PCV Valve 6) Re-attach the elbow to the PCV tube 7) Push the new PCV valve back down into the large rubber tube
the pcv is located on the rear(firewall) of the drivers side valve cover.turn counterclockwise and pull to remove be careful there are 2 small tabs inside the pcv hole in the valve cover(can feel with small finger) this is to hold valve in place so it wont leak.if you have a oil leak at the pcv a quick fix is to put a small amount of silicone around the pcv o-ring and install.wait hours for silicone to set up.
