We dont know what 4wd option you have , so how can we answer you. Impossible that be.
part time 4wd PT
or full time. awd
do not drive part time, on non icing pavement, are you on dirt?
not posting road conditions also makes all answers wrong.
if you attempt to use PT or lock on dry pavement you will damage the car.
ever read the operators guide yet>?
what does stuck mean
car stuck
lever stuck
just light stuck, and drives ok
is steering acting odd , like it does in 4low, or PT ?

Per Chilton Auto repair manual:
Removal & Installation
To install:
WARNING
Support the brake caliper with mechanics wire. Do not let the caliper hang by the brake hose.
Locate the IP to body harness connector, THIS CONNECTOR IS UNDER THE DASH HIGH UP ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE. Check to see if there is a water leak into the area and repair as necessary. Use a water hose to determine the source of a water leak and effectiveness of repair. Some examples of potential water leaks are: A-pillar seals, sunroof drain lines (if so equipped) and windshield/cowl sealing. Finally, repair or replace the IP to body harness connector, making sure no corrosion or debris is left on or between the terminals.
IT IS ADVISABLE THAT YOU REMOVE THE INTERIOR CARPETING AND DRY IT THROUGHLY. IT WILL MOLD AND SMELL REALLY BAD AFTER A FEW DAYS IN THE HEAT.
USE A WATER HOSE STARTING LOW AND WORKING YOUR WAY UP TO DETERMING WHERE THE LEAK IS. OR USING A FOAMING TYPE WINDOW CLEANER SPRAY IT WHERE YOU THINK THE LEAK MIGHT BE AND USE COMPRESSED AIR FROM THE INSIDE ON THE TRUCK FOLLOWING THE SEAMS AND WINDSHIELD.

I questioned the dealer about my 2005 because mine was disengaging what I thought to be rough compared to what I was used to. They told me that I should shift the vehicle into Neutral before shifting the selector. I have also found that shifting between Reverse and Drive a couple of times while stopped has helped as well. By doing these couple of things, I have had no trouble since. I hope this helps as it might at least be something to try.

next to the fan motor there should be a connector that has three or four wires that attached to the blower resistor. it should have two screws holding it to heater case, just pull it out and replace.
Testimonial: "This info was very helpful but need a little more info of where the fan motor is located. I will post another question to find that info."

Had a similar problem with my 01. It was the turn signal toggle. I replaced it with one that I got from a junk yard for about $45. It was really simple to replace, just pop off the collar around the steering wheel and the toggle is held in but 2 screws and a connector. Hope this helps.
