How do you adjust the headlights on a 2007 VW convertible Beetle?

Check the headlight relay if its getting power.If the relay is getting power then most provable culprit will be the headlight switch.

I believe vw uses 4 fuses 2 high beam, 2 low beam, see if high beams work,check for a blown fuse. Another possibility is a corroded wiring harness that plugs in behind the headlight. Unplug and replug the headlight socket a couple times to clean corrosion.

Step 1 Open the hood of your Beetle and look between the first two fender-mounting bolts. Then, look down a few inches from there. There is a small knob, which is the release knob for the headlight-housing assembly.

Step 2 Push the release knob down and then all the way up as far as it will go.

Step 3 Push the headlight housing forward from the back of the housing.

Step 4 Unplug the headlight connector from the back of the headlight.

Step 5 Push down on the plastic tab on the back of the headlight housing and slide the black plastic cover down to reveal the headlight.

Step 6 Remove the spring clip from the back of the headlight by pulling it off with your fingers. The headlight bulb will come out of the back of the headlight housing when you do this.

Step 7 Install the new headlight bulb and replace the spring clip to secure the headlight to the housing. Installation of the removed components is the reverse of removal.

Removal & Installation

1. Insert a hex wrench into the headlight lock and turn it clockwise 180°.
   
2. Turn the wrench back 90°

3. Push the retainer tab and remove the headlight assembly. It will unplug from the connector automatically.

4. Installation is the reverse of removal. Insert the assembly carefully to make sure the connector engages properly.

my QUESTION is: where IS the "top ajar" light on my 2007 VW New Beetle convertible??

On the 2007 vw beetle there is an unlock screw that you have to turn a quarter of a turn to unlock the light assembly by using a 5 mm. socket.You also have to push down on the silver release bar and pull the light housing out at the same time.The bar is 3 in. away from the unlock screw,towards the fire wall.

i have a 2002 VW Bettle when i shut it off the cooling system screams/whisles

wich specific cable is that cant remember part numbers

The healight can be removed by pulling the headlight out of the fender- forward. Easy to replace.
