Information Center in a 1997 Jeep Gr Ch Laredo

If you refer to the display that shows a diagram of the vehicle with the wheels lit. That display might have turned off due to a fuse problem. Chek the fuse. If the fuse is ok and the cabling powering the module are ok, then the module itself might be the problem. If that was the case, before thinking of purchasing a new one, disinstall the bad one, open it (8 small philips screws), replace the four capacitors it has on the back of the circuit board of the module (use soldering iron proper procedures), (each capacitor might cost 50 cents while the whole module might cost more than 100 dollars), and reassemble. That should take care of it for many years ahead.
