Wheres the water going?

I have a 1995 subaru impreza turbo and i have just recently changed the radiator onit but the car still seems to be drinking alot of water and not circulating round the car properly, there may be a major air lock in the system is there any bleed valve which will get rid of the air in the system?

Or has anyone got any ideas why the car is drinking so much water?

Subaru Impreza 1.8l engine is overheating while sitting, radiator dual fans aren't working, and radiator has as a result sprung a leak, possibly two in the top.

change the radiator and the temperature sensor as this controlls when the fans work.
the sensor is normally fitted into one side of the radiator

Wheres the fuel pump on a 1992 impreza import?

It is in tank. Take out back seat squabs and rear luggage carpet. There should be a removeable panel usually black on the floor. the pump and sender are under this. Change pump for a Walbro 255 LpH but leave the original filter sock. It is better than the Walbro one.

Water leak

I would suggest putting in a new water pump. You could take the existing one off and try to seal it but for me it would make more sense to replace it since you have the old one out. They're not too expensive. Mine was $20. You'll need a tube of high temperature gasket sealer to go around the edges of the new pump. Also, make sure you use the gasket that is with the new pump. Hope this helps ya.

I belive my headgasket is gone not sure need help

Not the head gasket. Sounds like your thermostat is bad. The radiator fluid coming out of the drain pipe on your radiator means that the engine is overheating and the excess pressure is being elieved through the drain pipe.

Change the thermostat.
