It does'nt have to be OEM Jeep oil.
As long as the viscosity is the same you will not have a problem.

I need to know what type of transmission fluid to use when i change it in my 02 lancer. It is a manual transmission

Even though it's a manual trans it probably takes automatic trans fluid. It should tell you in the owners manual, if they only give you the Mitsubishi part number a auto parts store should be able to tell what that number crosses to.

I need to know what type of fluid my manual transmission takes and where to put it on a 2000 Hyundai elantra

manual transmissions should never need fluid unless u have a leak. theres a plug on the side of the transmission. if u have your oil changed at a shop they can check it for you easily.

Fill transmission fluid on 19999 audi a4

LISTEN CLOSE. THERE IS A PLUG ON PAN. REMOVE IT. WITH A SYRINGE TYPE CANISTER YOU NEED TO INJECT THE FLUID INTO IT UNTIL IT STARTS TO COME OUT. THEN CAREFULLY START VEHICLE AND INJECT ANOTHER 3/4 QUART UNLESS IT STARTS TO COME OUT OR EVEN A QUART.LET IT RUN FOR 5 MINUTES THEN CONTINUE TO INSERT UNTIL IT OVERFLOWS AND TIGHTEN THE PLUG BACK TO THE PAN. i WOULD ONLY USE AUDI VOLKSWAGON FLUID AND YES IT CAN RUN $14 TO $18 A LITER

I need to change transmission fluid.

so? what is your problem then? if you want to know what type of fluid you are getting to put, pull out the trans dipstick, clean it, and on the bottom part of the stick you will find the type of trans fluid you have to use.

Need to change manual transmission fluid

pull the lower plug from the transmission, it will be on the bottom or the side on the bottom. replace the plug after draining and remove the fill plug wich is about half way up the side of the transmission. use 75w 90 gear oil in the trans.
good luck
