Rear spring broke,driver side - 2002 Saturn L-Series

I can help with basics. I need year--make--model? I'd remove tire and check the brakes. Are you rwd? I need more info?

the shock may have broke or came loose or the spring broke and fell out,take a look at the springseats at the top and bottom to make sure they are not rusted or broken then look at the shock if nothing is broken or missing bolts then the spring just broke and fell out,

check to see if a leaf spring sprung looseor broke a shackle

The outside door handle spring is broke ,or the latch spring is broke. The only way to tell is remove the door panel and inspect the rod from the handle to latch. Look for broken spring on handle. I have installed an external spring from the handle rod to latch to keep the rod in the full up position.

Blown suspension. You need to replace the spring and check the suspension spring supports. Also check all the others front and rear.

make sure you clean and oil e-brake arm, the spring might have broke, or little lock arm could be sticking . put wd40 all over asembly, any moving parts, you might have to move lingage on side back and fourth to loosen up start there. good luck.

At the center of the rear door is a actuator that has rods that go to both side and the clip felloff/broke on the Driver(left)side if it has a handel on the inside if you take that apart you can then pull the inside skin back far enough to pull the rod with a pliers and open the door and then make the repairs

You are going to have to go to Ford for this part.Shouldn't be to expensive. They will probably have to order the part for you.

You need to go to the dealer and buy a new arm. Sometimes some local part stores will have them.

The front springs are different from the rear,it sound like you may have the front springs on the driver side and the rear springs on the passenger side (or visa versa)You will be able to see the longer 2 of the set,They go in the rear and are not as thick or stiff as the front.
