The coolant reservoir is on the passenger side of the vehicle. It will look similar to this.

where is the coolant tank to replace antifreeze in - airjer995_26.jpg

If the coolant is original you will need to top off with "DEXCOOL" coolant. It is an extended life coolant and should not be mixed with regular green coolant.

If the coolant has been serviced most of the time they will flush out the dexcool and fill it with normal coolant. If the coolant looks green than this is probably true and you can add regular green coolant.

If your not sure what is in it there is a product approved for "all makes/all models".

How do I add antifreeze to radiator in a 2005 chevy malabu

There is a coolant reservoir on this vehicle. You don't add directly into radiator. Find cap on radiator. A hose is attached there....follow the hose to a reservoir on the sidewall of engine compartment. This will be your coolant reservoir. Add coolant into that reservoir.

In 2005 chevy impala the heater only gets warm sometimes. Other times it blows cold air. I put fresh antifreeze in. And there is no water on the floor of the car

The adding adding coolant means you have a leak somewhere, and low coolant level will cause this. How often do you check the fluid levels? Check for leaking hoses, weak radiator or expansion tank cap, leak at the water pump, and leaks around the radiator.

I need to add coolant to my 2005 chevy malibu, but i cant get the cap off. What do i do?

Add coolant to the plastic overflow tank to the full line. don't need to remove radiator cap to add coolant. if you want to take off the radiator cap, push down hard & turn to the left.

Evaporative leak code P0442 in 2005 chevy malibu

Could be a faulty gas cap or running the engine with the gas cap off - or a leak in the line from the gas tank to the vent canister, or a leak in the gas tank.

Where do you add the coolant in a chevy Malibu maxi 2004?

You add at the coolant surge tank. The surge tank is located at the rear of the engine compartment, the tank has a radiator style cap on it. Never open hot!

On the 2005 malibu, where is the radiator? And what substance do i need to put in there? It says cooliant but is that the same thing as water?

The coolant can be found at most stores that sells automotive products. You will need a 50/50 mix of water and coolant. If you had drained you old coolant you can purchase premixed cooland were no water is added. I would purchase two gallons of cooland for you vehicle and change the thermostat as well

On a 2005 Equinox where is the coolant cap? Not that antifreeze holding chamber, but the cap where you are not suppose to open when its hot cause it shoots out everywhere. I want to put all new antifr

Not all vehicles have the cap you are talking about. If your vehicle does have a radiator cap, it will be somewhere along the top of the radiator. Would recommend going to a shop where they have the proper tool(s) to do a coolant flush.

2002 Chevy Malibu - Oil in Coolant Tank

Sounds like your head gasket has a leak. I would also check your dip stick. If there is coolant mixed with the oil also. Then it is your head gasket.
