SOURCE: where is the resistor in a 2001 ford explorer

You have to remove your glove box and it is behind there. Here is a picture of where it is. This particular picture is from a 4 X 4 so if you don't have that it won't have the 4X4 part. Let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks for using FixYa!5877c26.jpg

SOURCE: what is throubleshot p0113 at ford escape 2001

Intake air temperature sensor faulty. Depending on what engine, may be in side of air cleaner or air intake hose , or may be part of the MAF (mass airflow ) sensor. You can try cleaning MAF with tuner cleaner from radio shack or TV repair place.

2008 Ford Escape heater blower no longer runs in position 1. Works great in positions 2 thru 4.

It could be the blower resistor. While I'm not familiar with the 2008 Escape, most resistors are located near the blower motor under the dash on the passenger side. It'll have a plug with several wires, and usually 2 screws holding it in.
