Hi sssski

You got a problem with the immobiliser. Why is it engaging, and what is the symptom leading up to the problem.

are you using a chipped key to start the car? Sorry for the barrage of questions, just need to get a few facts down to diagnose the problem for you. :)

If you are using the correct key, then try disconnecting the battery for 30 mins, with the doors closed and locked, then reconnect the battery, unlock drivers door and try to start

If you have no success with that, then you may have to speak to a dealer. Some systems you have to turn on, hit the key, then leave on for 10 mins, then repeat, several times and it may reset the immobilizer., but other than that, you will need to have the ECU reset by a dealer, or someone that has the gear to do it. Some Auto electricians can do this for you also.
I am more than happy to answer any other questions you may have about

1997 Toyota t100 pickup, no key fob ever with truck. Need to disarm factory alarm system.

Factory alarm (if not an optional extra) is probably, like the immobiliser, integrated into the engine management system. If this is so it cannot be disarmed without a correctly coded signal from the key or fob.
That would leave you with two choices - either obtain a new fob and have the system recoded or to have the system decoded, effectively disabling the alarm and immobiliser. Costwise there isn't much difference...

I have an 06 nissan altima need to disingauge anti theft so I can start my car

Immobiliser is disarmed when the antenna around or near the steering lock receives the code held in the transponder chip within the key and then if that code matches the code in the black box memory it will send a signal to disarm the immobiliser.

It cannot be bypassed or otherwise disengaged except by a key with the correct code.

My C Class immobiliser seems to be stuck. the red and green lights come on the rear view mirror. A few times disconnecting and reconnecting the battery has helped reset the immobiliser, but it is hit and...

Hello Abdul,
I had this problem and the solution is rather strange.... Change the battery in your remote key for a brand new fresh one and see if this solves the problem. Apparently, when the lithium battery is low, the central locking will continue to work but the immobiliser disarming circuit cannot decode the signal.

Immobiliser ?????? so i have been told

If, when you switch the ignition on, you get a dash light on, the symbol is a car with a key overlaid, you have somehow activated the immobilser You could try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, this may reset the immobiliser, If this does not work you will have to contact a Hyundai dealer to get the immobiliser unlock code.

Wont start

Hi
Had a similar problem with my x type 2.5 petrol, only had the car 1 day went to start it nothing happend all the lights came up on the dash but the engine wouldn't start and the immobiliser light stayed on. Spoke to Jaguar they had no idea and I couldn't get it to them. After disconnecting the battery trying to reset the immobiliser phoned and auto locksmith they came out and discovered the end of the key with the blade had lost it's coding and the immobiliser was not disarming, they reprogrammed the key and the car started no problem. As far as i know there is no way past the immobiliser. Hope this helps.
