I replaced my spark plug wires and spark plugs and fuel filter on my 1992 Chevy K1500 507 liter. Tried to start it and it will turn over but wont start. I got 3 different diagrams for the firing order and they are all teh same and the wires are all correct. I was jsut wondering if there might be a different firing order than 18436572?

tune it up, spark plugs ,plug wires, you also must replace both the fuel & air filters. absolute must ! tighten throttle body bolts, check all vacuum hoses, clean battery terminals.
needs a tune-up, spark plugs, wires , distributor cap & rotor, fuel filter, air filter, might need coil also, put some drygas in fuel tank, check all vacumn lines, change oil & filter. DO ALL THIS , IT NEEDS IT i'M SURE, THEN YOU'LL BE GOOD TO GOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tyhe first thing you shd always do on any car with starting problems is to check the spark on the plugs to localize the problem to either fuel or ignition problem. If u have an old spark plug lying around, remove one spark plug wire and attach it to the plug and lay it against the block. If it fires, when the engine turns, then it will most likely be fuel problem.
If it turns out to be fuel problem, you can prove it by using starting fluid carefully into the breather area.
need more information:
1. does the motor turn over when cranking, and just
won't start?
2. if not, when you turn the key to on position can you hear the fuel pump kicking in?
So you threw parts at it. No harm intended. Should have started with the adding gas part first. You know the filter is new and it does run! Are the fuel pump amps correct, pump mech bound,no fuel volume, pressure regulator work correctly? Does the pump run in start mode or time out? Now the harder stuff. What does the spark and timing look like,What is the computer seeing and then what command is it sending?
You might have a problem with your crank sensor or ignition. Remove spark plug wire and check for spark while turning engine over. When this happens unplug crank sensor near crank pulley then plug back in to see if it starts if so replace crank sensor.
