2000 lincoln Navigator I smell slight antifreeze smell through heat, checked over flow and the antifreeze in it was brownish have not noticed any moisture on floors but definately moisture on windshield. had Heater core suggested to me what else could this be?
Re: 2000 lincoln Navigator I smell slight antifreeze...
Not much else. It is almost definately the heater core. The brownish stuff is rust. It may not be leaking bad enough to soak the floor yet, but it will.

you have a heater core leak. If you start seeing coolant on the passenger side floor, that is another dead giveaway. This is not any easy replacement, you will have to remove the entire dashboard. Heater cores are pretty cheap though, the last one i bought was for a dodge, it was $35.00. I hope this helps.
definately sounds like you have a bad heater core, the heater core is the only way for you to get the antifreeze smell inside the vehicle. It may not be totally bad, or pluged right now, but it wont be long. if you put a new one in it, it will fix your problem. hope this helps you God Bless!!
if you use the orange antifreeze than id say you have a blown intake gasket or head gasket, combustion gases in your antifreeze makes it very acidic which probably ate a hole in your heater core and will probably eat your radiator soon if not fixed
i had the same trouble, there is a rubber boot under the cover on the top of the motor, it is coming from the egr valve, takes about 5 mins to repair and less than 5 dollars.
