Every vehicle should have the automatic trans fluid changes at 30,000 miles and never go over
3 years,even if the milage is less.
Also,do the power steering at the same time.

Could be a weak connection between the battery and starter, or the clutch safety switch. You would need to know how far power is getting in the starter circuit to figure it out.
It is best to flush the fluid this gets the fluid out of the torque converter.This transmission uses special fluid tpye t-Iv gm # 88900925 do not use dexron fluid in this transmission.
