On top of the struts under the bonnet is a plastic cover with a nut underneath ,put some engine oil around this nut so it soaks through to the bearinig ,might or might not work dependiing on the fault but its a favourite trick of mine that often works

Check to be sure that you have proper front end alignment. A
tell tale sign would be uneven front tire wear and pulling to one side
while driving. If the wheels are not aligned properly, you can also

thanks, the local garage says that the electric power steering unit has got water in it and its corroded, but they are not a Mazda garage, i've lost faith in Mazda garages, but to fix the problem and get to this unit, is a huge job
