Hi all. New to the board.
I have an 03 Pilot w/ 105M miles. A/T fluid temp high light came on. Now comes on even after setting all night. Checked fluid. seemed low. added 12 oz. of the Honda ATF. Light is still on. Does anybody have any suggestions. Bad sensor? Clogged filter? Thought topping up the fluid would do it but no luck. Hope someone can help.
Thanks.

yes, this is the case of a failed throttle body, in which case it needs replaced, the car is getting too much fuel causing the high idle. this needs replaced asap. you could proably find a small independant honda shop that could do the work for less.

The atf fluid level can only be checked when the car is running and at temperature (not cold) the level will be high when the car is not running

the tires make steady noise , check the wheel bearing as noises get high and low at the same speed , and i also would check for diff if it's 4wd.

The problem with the DRL issue describd in the above posts is the DRl module(it needs to be replaced). The buzzing relay and intermittent on/off of passenger side DRl are indicators that the module needs to be replaced.

it can be any of the above, rotate the tires and see if the noise location seems to change, but the last thing i would suspect is the CV, they just click when turning, the wheel bearing is my choice here, they roar, tires make a diff noise.
Testimonial: "Rotating the tires didn't seem to change the noise. They are rotated and balanced every 5000 miles. There's still about another year's tread left. "

My 2004 pilots temperature gauge goes directly to hot as soon as I start it and I have trouble getting it started. All fluid levels are fine. Any suggestions.
