Your heater core is mounted under the dash inside your climate control center. No offense but if you dont know how to get to it then you probably wouldnt want to deal with all the hassle it is to replace. They arent fun the first time around.

I have a 2000 Dodge Durango. The heater blows cold air, the a/c works fine. I was told this could be a bad fuse.

the thermostat that regulates the water temperature is bad. it is in the open position keeping the water from heating

it was bypassed because the previous owner didn't want to change the leaking heater core, it is a big job.
