My 2004 Mitsubishi Montero battery died and my Service Engine light had been on due to my O2 Bank2 sensor being bad. Multiple system lights came up on my dash. I replaced the old battery with a new battery and the service lights stayed on. I took it to Auto Zone to check the system codes which nothing other than the O2 sensor came up. Auto Zone was not able to clear the codes. I drove the vehicle home and during the drive the message LOW Voltage Connection Now. System shutting down in 7 seconds appeared. I stoppe the vehicle and now it will not start. Any advice?

This has nothing to do with you O2 sensor. You have more than one problem. An O2 sensor will not cause what you just described. It will cause a check engine light but not the dimming of lights and a stalling issue. Check your charging sytem ( battery and alternator )
sounds like vehicle speed sensor on the transmission is bad. should take it back for warranty. or may have come unplugged somehow. That will make the check engine light come on.
I have a 98 Montero Sport and have yet to fail a test. I have changed a CAT Converter for 200 and some O2 sensors for 50 per since i had the car. you can get a aftermarket universal O2 sensor at a good price as for the CAT Converter ya they are expensive I just knew the guy. As for the dash light disconect your battery it will reset it
Bank 2 sensor 2 is the post-catalytic converter O2 sensor on (usually) the driver's side. It's the sensor that the car uses to monitor the efficiency of the catalytic converter. Whichever side of the engine has cylinders 4, 5, and 6 is bank 2 (you'll probably find that information on a decal underhood). Flashing the computer could be as easy as what you're doing (resetting by disconnecting the battery), or it may involve a more detailed process including diagnostic software. It's most likely though that what you are doing is all that's required - disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes or so puts the ECU back into learn mode, and it basically starts fresh to relearn the engine's operating parameters.
