I have a 1994 Saturn SL2. There is a knocking noise coming from the front passenger side of the car possibly near the the tire. It's not the motor because you hear it more on a bumpy road. After about 2 miles it eases up and is not as loud. Could it be struts, shocks, mounts?

Your wheel bearings need replaced,just replaced both front ones on my car,Then you will need to have your tires balanced,rotated and front end aligned.Mine was coming from my front driver side,it was loud,replaced,then the passenger side was making a noise,but not as loud,now it is like new.

Sounds like either a wheel bearing issue or cv joint depending on the type of noise. Drive it, then jack it up, check the cv boot, do a shake down on the wheel and feel the hub to see if its hot. hot hib means bad bearing. If you see a torn boot, probably a bad cv, if you have lots of play in all axies, then prob a bearing issue.

Where is the radio fuse in the fuse box in my 1994 saturn SL

On my 97 SL2 it's on the passenger front side near where your left foot would go. You remove the panel as part of the center console and it's behind it

In my 1994 Saturn SL1, there is a grey one under the hood on the driver's side AND one inside the car on the passenger side where the left foot would go

On the passenger side, on the side of the instrument panel, there is another fuse box, the radio fuse is number 10 on mine. The problem is I changed it and the radio still doesn't work.
On a 93 sl2 its in the same fuse box, but is number 19

Where is the alternator located on a 92 saturn

It's on the right side of the engine when viewed from the front. It will be the one with the electrical connectors/wires coming off the back. No other pipes or lines to it.

How to replace alternator on 1994 saturn sl2

jack the car up. remove the passenger side tire and wheel well plastic, this is the only way for it to physically be removed. remove the belt by releasing the belt tentioner. crawl under the car because this is the only access point. remove the 3 bolts holding it to the block, the ecu plug, and the power output wire and slide it out the wheel well. work backwards to reinstall.

jack up the front drivers side tire and try to move the tire up and down, there should no movement in it. If there is movement, the front hub(holds the tire to the car) is bad.

What kind of mirror would be for a 1993 SL2 saturn passenger side.

Your mirror is most likely black, just like all the other Saturns of that year. Knowing that, now is it power or manual? Now you go to ebay motors and search for a passenger side mirror of the right color and control. There are lots of them listed and all will fit all Saturn SL models 91-95. There is a little phillips screw holding in the cosmetic piece inside the front door at the front of the window. Unscrew that and you will see three larger nuts, take those off and the mirror will come off. Put your new mirror on the reverse order.

Ihave anoise in the passenger side

It is possible you have a tire that is out of balance or a bent rim.
Also if you swap the tires front to back on the right side,
see if the sound moves.
Struts can be a possibility also.

if its like a humming noise its the wheel bearing if you ga straith and move the stering to one side noise there move to the other side noise is less wheel bearing gone lift the car in the front ans spin the wheel manualy listen to see whisht bearing make the noise change that bearing hope its a fix for you and rate a fixya for me if any other question feel free im here thank you pierre

If it is a constant knock, I would check the cv shaft,(drive shaft ) on that side. you can grab it and there should be no movement up or down or side to side. If it is the shaft and that much noise it will move quite a bit. Get this replaced as soon as possible. this is not safe to drive and could cost you a transmission if it breaks completely. If you need to drive it to a garage take back roads and drive slowly. best is to get it towed. If you 've got the tools and want to do it yourself let me know and I can guide you thru it. Struts will make noises but only on bumps, the same with ball joints.
