Which code specifically? Do not assume you need a new solenoid. Our recommendation will depend on the specific code and some troubleshooting results. I usually recommend checking over all the EVAP vacuum lines and the gas cap too whenever there is a purge valve code. Check the vacuum lines at the cannister in the left rear bumper. I will paste info on the purge solenoid below. Evaporative Emission Purge Solenoid
Description & Operation
The duty cycle EVAP canister purge solenoid (DCP) regulates the rate of vapor flow from the EVAP canister to the intake manifold. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) operates the solenoid.
During the cold start warm-up period and the hot start time delay, the PCM does not energize the solenoid. When de-energized, no vapors are purged. The PCM de-energizes the solenoid during open loop operation.
The engine enters closed loop operation after it reaches a specified temperature and the time delay ends. During closed loop operation, the PCM cycles (energizes and de-energizes) the solenoid 5 or 10 times per second, depending upon operating conditions. The PCM varies the vapor flow rate by changing solenoid pulse width. Pulse width is the amount of time that the solenoid is energized. The PCM adjusts solenoid pulse width based on engine operating condition.
Removal & Installation
The duty cycle evaporative (EVAP) canister purge solenoid is located in the engine compartment near the brake master cylinder.
To Install:
Purge solenoid location:
EVAP cannister location:
Although I don't know the exact location on this car I can tell you what it does and why it needs replacing. The purge canister is part of your emission control system,it is full of charcoal(not kidding) and it is designed to store gas vapor rather than release it to the air ,like in the old days. When the car is moving down the road the purge solenoid opens and these stored gas vapors get burned up in the engine.Solenoids are a electro-magnetic device and they wear out.Go to the dealer, get a new one ,find the exact location, and change it out .They are usually held in with 2 small bolts or screws. The check engine light should turn itself out in a couple of days or if you have a scanner clear the code out. Good luck.

you should be able to fix it look for a can near the fuel tank that has vacuum hoses coming out of it and you should be able to just buy the bad solenoid

Depends if the engine is 3.0 or a 2.2?
3.0 purge is on the top, back side of the intake. Black, cylinder. Looks the same on a 2.2, but is located next to the air filter.
SOURCE: I did have the code p0443 and I replace the purge
check the carbon canister for dirt or just replace it.
