SOURCE: 1997 sonoma turn signal flasher

it is inside, under dash, on left side is a plastic sound protector, mine had 3 screws holding it up, drop this down and straight in you will see a 1" round thing - this is the flasher, pull it out and replace with new one (there are two flat prongs that plug in). It appears this is a well guarded secret!

SOURCE: locating the turn signal flasher on 1993 corsica

The turn signal flasher is mounted in a clip on the right side of the steering column support bracket. The hazard flasher is located in the component center, under the instrument panel, on the right side. Replace the flasher by unplugging the old one and plugging in the new one.

SOURCE: flasher or turn signal switch

When you select left or right do any of the bulbs come on? If you select left check front and back left side if one of the bulbs did not come on the flasher will not work. Change the bulb that is out. Same with the right. If the fuse for the turn signal is good (check fuse or replace do not use visual, some appear to be good but are not).
The emergency flasher is different from the turn signal flasher. Look at manual for location of turn signal flasher. If you manually lift and lower turn signal control you may hear a clicking under the dash to locate the flasher.

SOURCE: 1997 sonoma turn signal flasher

The flashers are located behind the instrument panel trim, roughly between the base of the steering wheel and the ashtray, just to the left of the car lighter. To access the flashers, you need to at least loosen the lower instrument panel trim. Just under the steering column there are two screws with star heads. One to the left of the column and one to the right. You need to remove both of these screws. You will need to remove your ashtray. On the upper left corner of the hole left by removing the ashtray is a 9/32 hex head screw. You need to remove it. Once these three screws are removed you should be able to pull down on this portion of trim under your instrument cluster. When you do this it may cause trim around your instrument cluster to loosen that you can just pop back into place with your hand. You won't need to pull down to far on this trim piece as there are still some screws holding the bottom. You should be able to pull it down far enough to see the flasher units behind and just to the left of the cigarette lighter. There are two flasher units and I found that the one on the right is for the turn signals. On the left the other is for the hazard flashers. It may be a hand scraping experience to replace the flasher but it beats paying someone to do it for you. They are easy to recognize because the are silver and round metallic plug ins. The flasher unit on the left is for the emergency flashers and the one on the right is for turn signals. You can place the emergency flasher unit into the slot the turn signal unit belongs until you get a replacement. These flasher units are pretty cheap.

SOURCE: my turn signal and flasher wont work.i replaced the lever on the

A flasher can be located in the fuse panel, under the dash in the wiring loom, in a glove box,\ or, under the hood.

Most flashers are located under the dashboard on the driver's side.

I have an 85 Mazda RX7 and have replaced all

Taking flasher control away from the CPU is not difficult. I had to do this on an 81 a few weeks ago as flasher was burned out and not able to find a replacment CPU. On the 81 there were only two wires that were involved with flasher control. Both were at one end of the CPU connector. Green with White Stripe was power in from the turn signal switch and Green with Black stripe was output to the turn bulbs. I simply removed the wires from the connector. Soldered in two spade connectors to the wire ends and connected these two wires to a basic 2 pin flasher unit. Works like new!!

Turn signals dont work on 1993 skylark. all bulbs are good. hazard lights blink fine. turnsignal dash light stays green and doesnt blink

There are 2 separate flasher relays. 1 for the turn signals and one for the hazards. I believe you have a bad flasher relay for the turn signals. The location of that is in the front seating area on the drivers side, under the dash on the drivers side of the steering column, mounted on support bracket. I provided a picture of what it should kind of look like although the picture I gave you is an aftermarket one so the color and such may be a little different but will look the same. Don't get it mixed up with the hazard relay which is located in the front seating area on the drivers side under the dash above the kick pane lmounted on top of the convenience. I am almost 100 percent sure the flasher and hazard relay are the same so if you want to just swap them out in order to have turn signals that should work. You won't have hazards however. I hope this helps you and good luck.

My signal lights dont work on my 1995 ford crown victoria i need to know what fuse to change

turn signals usually have a flasher relay, you might also look at the switch in teh steering column. if the emergency flashers still work, swap the flashers, to see if that fixes the flashers.

1996 PLYMOUTH VOYAGER, TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS DON'T WORK FUSES ARE OK, WAT'S WRONG

Hello. If the turn signals don't work left or right the flasher has gone bad. It is easy to replace as it just plugs in under the dash. Go to any auto parts store and buy a new flasher and ask the clerk to assist you in plugging it in. J.

The turn signals will not work on my 1985 mazda rx7

most likely the flasher unit is dead , it is a cheap , plug in part that is usually found in the fuse box. I am not familiar with rx7's but i am sure you can find a fuse box diagram on line somewhere.

Turn signals dont work at all

Try your hazard lights. If they work, then it's your turn signal flasher. With your hazards on, listen under the dash for the constant "clicking". Locate the flasher for your hazrads... the turn signal flasher should be near it. Once you find it, just pull it out and replace.

You can use your hazard flasher in place of your turn signal flasher, just swap the two. This will get you to the store to buy a replacement.

Turn signals and back up lights dont work, bulbs and fuses good. Blinker lights only work in dash when emergency flashers are on.

Test the circuit board wires on the back side of your taillights where the bulbs go in to see if power is going there with the blinker on, if yes replace the circuit board (quite common with these trucks). If there is no power back there check your flasher relays for each turn signal, assuming they dont click off and on when you tip the turn lever. if all else fails, head for the multifunction switch behind your steering wheel inside the column that your turn signal/wiper/cruise control lever is connected to.
