may either mean air filter is clogged or engine coolant is low; does car often run hot on engine temp guage? if so, most likely coolant is low; does car seem to lack power it once had? most likely air filter clogged
i am a masrer volvo ASE MASTER TECH yes the one with thermometer is the coolant low and square sounds light the Generator light and why is coolant low???? is fan working properly and relay?? and under thermostat there is a coolant temp sensor and to clarify meaning wet is that the coolant temp sensor has enough coolant to the sensor INSIDE THE THERMOSTAT housing
That is a warning light that comes on when you get low on antifreeze. You will see your reservior on the left where you add coolant. You can just buy some 50/50 mix from the store, and add it. You may want to do some investigation to see where you may have lost some coolant. Make sure you add some though. Hope that helps.
