Check your fuel pressure regulator. pull off the vacuum line and crank the engine. if gas comes shooting out of the vacuum fitting you have a bad fuel pressure regulator.

I have a 1995 Toyota corolla and I recently noticed I had a gas leak I sealed the hole with JBL epoxy to hold me over until my new tank arrives but it looks as if there is oil mixed in with the gas .

Keep checking the oil level and the transmission fluid level to make sure they stay full, but there should be no oil in the gas tank.
There may be water, however, and it may be brown like oil.
Water will sit in the bottom of the tank and make rust underneath the gasoline, since gasoline floats on water.

Witch engine oil is suitable for a VW Jetta 4?

TWO answers read and follow the Manufacturers Specification. OR Always use ** 15-40 Diesel Rated Oil is ALL gas, natural/propane and diesel Engines! Use Purolator, then WIX, then Manufacturers Filters - NEVER Fram, "special". oil the oil lube shops filters!!! WHY? When flying planes, every 100 hours I remove the filter, cut it open, and INSPECT the filter material for particulate. My Vehicle Engines go for well over 600,000 miles - most other peoples. simply do NOT!

** I use Delo 15-40 in everything - an better one is Shell Rotunda, however too expensive and not needed! In gas engines after 500 miles, the FIRST Time ONLY - Replace the oil AND FILTER - mixed fuels and oils NEVER mix well. Then on gas engines ONLY replace the filter at the "normal" intervals and ADD not change, the oil... On Diesels, due to the extreme compression, you DO change the oil, at "normal" intervals. In gas, NOT diesel engines - you could use Pep Boys and/or Walmart's generic DIESEL GRADE oil - NOT in diesel engines, as from my experience.

AVOID gasohol - unless you like flash rust and oxidation inside your engine AND 30% less fuel mileage - NEVER use WD40 on ANY metal you want to reuse! And do NOT use BP or unknown small time gas stations - as MANY "top off their fuels" with other octanes - which LOWERS the octane - do to "covalent bonding of carbon molecules" Example: a 50/50 mix of 100 octane with 90 = closer to 80 NOT "in the middle". 96 Vulcan 800 classic gas mixed with oil blue smoke coming from exhaust oil running out of exhaust manifolds

Gas mixed with oil? Not on purpose I hope as the Vulcan's ran on straight gas.
If you're getting oil from the bottom end into the cylinders it will probablt be from either the piston rings or the valve stems. Either way, it's fairly major maintenance that most people rely on a shop to take care of. Personally, I would. I had a '95 Vulcan 750. Excellent bike but a bit small for me.

1998 xr80 smoking after puting freash gas in

Did you put in 2-cycle mixed gas? If putting gas in it was the last thing you did before it started smoking then I would start there. Oil causes smoke and there's only 2 ways oil can get into the cylinder; mixed with gas or bypassing the piston rings. Lets hope its the gas.

What to do if u run out of gas? Looks like the water is mixing with oil. Is there a place to put gas under hood when u run out of gas?

No there is not a place to put gas when you run out of it under the hood.. You are using a fuel injection system and you are thinking carbeurator... If you ran out of gas you will be able to get fuel pressure back in the fuel rails by turning key on and off.. but not in the crank position. You will hear the fuel pump priming.. just make sure that the fuel rails are full of fuel... and water mixing with oil?? if there is water mixing with oil in your system i will assume it is coolant.. and i will say head gasket. It is fairly expensive so if you know someone i would suggest to get them to do it... You can do a oil pressure test and see if your oil pressure is in spec.. and pressurizing the cooling system with a pressure guage to see if the cooling system holds pressure.. my guess is is that it wont

The exhaust is leaking a gas/oil mix

Hello;
White smoke is from coolant in the combustion chambers. Oily mix out the tailpipe is an indication of damage in the engine, and probably catastrophic at best. You need to have a mechanic check it out.

How do I keep getting gas mixed in with my oil?

Does the blazer run ok? how much gas is in the oil? You will get a certain amount of gas in oil thats normal. If your getting like a half a quart thats not normal. If your getting a lot in the oil its got to be flooding and fouling plugs. Need the whole story in order to help. Just taking a gess hear its the injection system, there was alot trouble with them thru the years like your blazer.
