I have a 2001 jeep grand cherokee laredo the problem i have is when i cut my heat on it blows out of all vents but it is not very hot. the temp gauge is reading between 195 and 210. i felt the heater hoses...

Check that the Heater / AC Door Actuator Motor is actually functioning by selecting heat to vent and listen.

Make sure you have vacuum to your climate controls by selecting various air vents (upper/lower/face)

If the return heater hose is not warm also - then your heater core might be plugged up. A replacement heater core runs between $83 and $153 at NAPA depending on their mood when you price it. It is kind of a pain to replace you might want to have a shop do it.

2001 jeep cherokee - uneven heat. cold air on passenger side. Problem occurs at highway speed. Seems to be OK at slower speeds.

jeep has a problem with the vent doors (which allow heat or cold air to pass into the passenger compartment) these are plastic vent doors, that break very eazy...the dash has to be removed to replace the broken part, which makes this a big dollar item. have both doors replaced, not just the broken one.....sorry...this will be over $500 to fix,

2001 jeep grand cherokee wont blow air through vents

there is a flap to redirect the air flow under the dash, it may be an item like a pen :) that has dropped down the vent opening stopping it from moving to redirect the air ... failing that, one of the motors/cables that operate the flap has failed
