Warning bell does not turn off

dummy bell ?????? What dummy bell ?? warning indicator is probably what you mean . Has warning chimes for different thing's , key in ignition , headlamps on , seat belt , etc.... An no , it's not a fuse . Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop.

You need to take your motor to a Garage where they can put a diag machine on it.

You have a problem with the loom ( the vehicle wiring system)
Frankly it sounds really costly- flip it!

have the same problem with my saturn the steering wheel can get locked just try to jiggle the wheel and the key at the same time to unlock and the bell could be on because the key was not turned all the way to the off postion or counter clockwise. Key can come out with the car still in the on postion

Sounds like the starter motor.

Sounds silly but this is how i fixed my bell ringing. !st the ringing is the alarm when you open the door and the key is in the ignition or the car is running. I found the push switches that are on the side of the car and are operated when the door is shut have become loose. All you need to do is tighten them up a bit and the bell ringing will stop. When you make your right turn you probably push a bit on the door and that helps open the switch more. The switches are the contact switches that turn on the light as well as the warning sensors for open door. See if your dome lights flicker a bit as well.

I'm assuming that the key is removed from the ignition and it's still chiming..
Take some lock lube spray and spray a bit in your ignition key slot. Then take the key and insert it in and out a few times. This may release a stuck contact in the ign. switch.
The chime will also sound if the lights are left on...worth a check too.
These are cheap fix/checks...hope they help.

DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION Warning Chime Systems Three distinct sounds are used to indicate the area of concern. Seat belt warning generates 1 chime per second
key-in-ignition generates 2 chimes per second
headlight on generates 4 chimes per second.
Key-In-Ignition Warning The key-in-ignition warning will sound when the driver's front door (20125) is opened with the key in the ignition switch. It will continue to sound until the key is removed, the front door is closed, the ignition switch is turned to START or the vehicle speed is over 24 kmh (15 mph).

Safety Belt Warning When the ignition switch is turned to RUN or START from OFF or ACC, the chime will sound for six seconds or until the safety belt is buckled.

• The safety belt warning indicator lamp (10C859) will activate for 60 seconds or until the driver's safety belt is fastened. Both the chime and lamp activate at the same time.

Anytime the ignition switch is released from START and returns to RUN while the safety belt lamp or chime is activated, the safety belt warning lamp or chime will remain activated until either the timing sequence has been executed, or the safety belt is buckled.

Headlamp Switch On Warning The chime will be activated if the headlamps or parking lamps are ON, the key is not in the ignition and the driver's door is opened. The chime will sound at a rate of four per second.

The bell that warns of keys in ignition is weak sounding in my truck also, but all my lights work. By weak i meen harldy audible at all. My conclusion is that they are not on the same circuit.

the switch that shuts off the dome light and chime is part of the door latch and is broken
