I don't know what year or kind of car you have but ford says that P1405 code is a EGR valve problem.

that is your egr tube coming off the exhaust manifold. they get filled with carbon.. as in the price for the repair that depends where you are ,and most of them break coming off. sending a picture

I suggest you replace the EGR valve position sensor.

Are you sure you have EGR flow?? Hold the EGR valve open the engine should run poorly, if not you have no flow.

P1405 FORD - Differential Pressure Feedback Electronic Sensor Circuit Upstream Hose.

This means either the EGR position sensor hose is pulled off or damaged or the sensor is defective. The sensor is referred to as the EGR (exhaust gas recirculation valve) DPFE sensor.

It just means the computer has detected a fault with a sensor or something that it controls or a system that it monitors.

You will need to scan the computer for codes with a scan tool or a code reader. Once you know what code is present you can start to diagnose the problem.
