2005 Jeep Cherokee Overland 5.7 Hemi will not turn over after changing

sounds like battery. when a car battery dies it is dead wasting time trying to recharge it.. Turn headlights on bright, turn heater blower motor on high watch lights, do the stay bright or start dimming. Try to start car with lights on are the going dim. If the headlights do not remain bright while starting car it is battery.

My 2007 Cherokee Limited/Hemi I always use the remote start. It got cold low teens and the remote failed. The vehical will start manually but now the check engine light stays on. I have seen in my research...

Hi Danny, I would have both the vehicle and the remote fob batteries checked and if required, replaced. Cold weather can and does show up problems with batteries. It would also be a good idea to have a diagnostic scan carried out on your vehicle, just to be on the safe side. Regards John

Need to change the starter on a 2008 jeep grand cherokee limited with a v8 hemi. Found the starter but not sure how to get it out. Do I need to remove the exhaust or drive shaft? Thanks for your help.

Same issue. 2008 Grand with Hemi. loos like the Driveshaft has to come out but I still do not know if there is enough Wire length to get the wires off with the starter unbolted

Display reads check or service 4 wheel drive and wont come off.transmission has 100,000 kilometers on 2005 jeep cherokee overland hemi 5.2 engine, and transmission has been flushed recently.Sometimes when...

flushing a trans is not good because particals from the oil can clog valve body and ruin it--always just drop pan change filter and drain--that lite means theres a bad code-scan truc for free at a parts place and tell me wats happenin

I want to speed up my 2007 grand cherokee overland

Best bet is to start with an aftemarket performance air intake. (ex-K &N, AEM). Exhaust (flowmaster) is the next step. with those two you should an additional 15 ish horses. next step would a chip module. (ex-hypertech). Additional horses for you.

Intake will give you instant results. Throttle response, air flow, and a better sound
Exhaust. Will sound great. May not notice the performance portion, but needed.
Chip Module. Your biggest expense without getting in big, but will take your jeep to the next level. lets your jeep open up and remove rev limits and such. Fun to play with and works. Don't fall trap to knock offs. You find a whole lot junk like on ebay. Stick to the heavy hitters with this. (Jet/Hypertech to name a couple.)
Check out www.jegs.com to look at some performance parts. There a decent site with a lot to look at. Have fun.
