With they key on whack the top of dash with the palm of your hand. Do this several times. If the instrument cluster come alive than you have bad solder joints at the main connector for the instrument cluster. The cluster will need to be removed from the dash and then disassembled. The broken solder joint(s) will be visible and can be re-flowed with a soldering iron.

Here are some pictures of the last one I fixed. You can see the ring around this joint this one happens to be the main ground for the instrument cluster.

I have a 2000 dodge caravan none of the gauges work my tack. my temp my speedo and my fuel gauge can you help me how to fix this thanks dean

Check fuse for gauges. If ok, try banging on top of dash above instrument panel to see if they begin to work again. If they do, possible loose connection or defective cluster

Tranmission and instrument cluster

The speed sensor on your trans sends a signal to the electronics telling it when to shift, this will be where you fault is.

You might want to Google, "Dodge instrument cluster soldering". There is videos and pictures to show what's necessary to repair that. Not too hard actually. Here's one link to see what you need to do.

Dashboard instruments not working

Sounds like the cluster circuit board is on the way out - not a big job, you may even be able to find one in a junkyard - just make sure the cluster is exactly the same.

Dashboard gauges dont work, 1998 dodge caravan

These vehicles seem to have a problematic short, my grandfather has the same vehicle with the same problem, i found the short under the carpet on the driver side of the vehicle, under the gas pedal, sometimes wires can crack and break.

2002 Dodge caravan instrument cluster and signals are not working. All fuses are good.Help!

Well if you checked all of the fuses, then most likely the wire harness that is plugged into you gauge cluster from inside the dash either came loose or your gauges cluster is faulty and blew out. I would check to see if that wire harness came loose and if it didnt then your probably going to have to replace that whole gauge cluster. Check around on ebay then are pretty cheap on there.
