Neither relay nor resistor if handling the wiring harness makes it cut in and out.
It is either a connection in the harness, cut insulation in the harness, or broken wire in the harness.
Try different speeds. If it is all speeds, then it is the ground connection that is erratic.

2001 Silverado 1500...AC Blower Motor not coming on at any speed. Checked all fuses, all good. Motor tested good, so I replaced resistor and harness, did not help any. Whats next? SOLVED !

What's next? Auto repair shop. lol You check all the fuses ? How looking at them ? Did you check for battery voltage across the fuses using a voltmeter ? Did you look at a wiring diagram to see what all is involve in making the blower motor work. Just replacing parts is not how to fix the problem.

Where is the blower resistor located to Townace Noah

The blower resistor in a Toyota Townace Noah with a 3S engine is typically located near the blower motor, which is responsible for directing air into the vehicle's cabin.
Here is a general guide on how to locate the blower resistor in a Toyota Townace Noah with a 3S engine:
  1. Locate the blower motor: The blower motor is typically located under the passenger side dashboard, near the footwell.
  2. Identify the blower resistor: The blower resistor is typically a small rectangular or cylindrical component that is connected to the wiring harness near the blower motor.
  3. Remove the blower resistor: To access the blower resistor, you may need to remove the cover or the panel that covers the blower motor. You can then unplug the wiring harness and remove the mounting bolts to remove the blower resistor.
Note: The location and accessibility of the blower resistor may vary depending on the specific model and year of your Toyota Townace Noah with a 3S engine. If you are unsure about the location or how to access the blower resistor, it is recommended to consult a professional mechanic or the vehicle's owner's manual.
It is important to handle the blower resistor with care, as it can be easily damaged if not handled properly. If you are not confident in your ability to replace the blower resistor, it is best to seek assistance from a qualified mechanic.

Blower motor

I'm showing a blower relay and a resistor used on models with manual ac control.
The blower motor is grounded and the fan switch provides power thru the resistor. So you have a 40amp blower fuse that handles high thru the relay, then a 30amp HVAC fuse that powers the blower thru the fan switch.
Do you not have power from the resistor to the blower motor on the purple wire ?

Blower fan only runs in positions 1-3, not on 4; relay or resistor?

Remove blower motor resistor and check to see if it discolored or melted. if so then replace blower motor resistor, also blower motor speeds 1-4 go through resistor, 5 goes direct from switch to blower motor. check wire harness connector at resistor, it should have six wires five power wires that corralate with the five settings on switch, so in each switch setting one wire should have power. the sixth wire is the ground. also harness connector to resistor it may be melted, if so go to dealer with vin number and get new harness connector with resistor.
I hope this helped.

HEAT DOSE NOT WORK WHERE IS BLOWER MOTOR LOCATED AND HOW DO I CHANGE IT

The blower motor is under the dash on the passenger side. You'll need to remove the plastic hush cover to get to it. These trucks are prone to this.
The blower motor fails because the resistor/ relay / wiring harness assembly overheats and can melt. Some of these have even caught fire. You're going to want to replace the blower motor resistor/relay and wiring harness assembly assembly too.
Check out all the wiring that goes into the resistor for heat damage. This assembly sits right next to the blower motor right above where the passengers feet would be. The resistor/relay is about the size of a pack of cigarettes and you'll see it right away. Make sure to disconnect the battery before working on any of this so you don't cause any more trouble while splicing in the new harness. I just did this on my 2006 Chevy truck and my blower motor was ok. I just had to replace the resistor/relay and splice in a new wiring harness. It cost $180.00 just for that stuff.

My a/c only works on high. I was told that it was the blower motor resistor not sure where is located.

It's located near the fan motor on the passenger side duct work. It will have a harness plugged into it.
It's mounted with 2 sonic welds, to remove it pry under the mounting points to snap the welds. The replacement resistor is mounted with 2 self tapping screws.

When the blower is on speed 5, it is a direct 12 volts for high speed and the first four operate through the resistor, check your breaker for the blower motor to insure it is not cutting out.
