The light is a Daytime Running Light indicator light. I comes on whenever the DRL are on. (DRL uses the high beam lamps) The DRL will turn off when the parking brake is set, or when the headlights are turned on. Have someone sit in the car with the engine running and cycle both the parking brake and headlights. You should see the DRL's turn on and off as the others are cycled. The indicator lets you know the system working, if it goes out, you probably have a burned out headlamp.

All lights work except the head lights. Turn, Single, ect. Work. With head lights on Park, Day drive lights work. The only thing that does not work is the head lights.

2001 Lexus LS430 warning alarm lights on top of insrtument panel

I would prefer if you forwarded a clear picture of these lights or symbols. The only green light I can think of is the one in the top center. That green light shows that your gear selector is in Park and moves as you select a different gear position. I think the yellow and Red light that you speak of is within the top area of the RPM gauge. The Red light should have an "!" symbol and is indicating a warning. The alarm is a back up to also alert you of an issue. This could represent your tires or engine. You should send it in for diagnostics asap. The Yellow Light I am not sure of. I need to know what it looks like. If it looks like a car with wavy lines. This light represents your traction control. If your car contains the owners manual it is a great idea to familiarize yourself with it. There is a lot of good information inside.

I parked my volkwagen jetta 97 manual transmission the other day, came back and it wouldn't start. It clicks but it will not start. The safe mode on the radio is on and all the lights come on. I tried jump...

This is the symptoms of a bad starter. The brushes in the starter motor become warn and will not turn the motor. Some folks tap on the starter with a hammer and try again as a test. If tapping on the starter gets it to start it usually indicates their is a dead spot in the starter. Replacement is not difficult.
I hope this helps. God Bless.

My problem is when I turn on the headlights, the parking lights comes but not the headlights, but when I hold the turn signal switch / highbeam to the rear the driving lights comes on but I will have to...

you might just have two bad low beam headlights, I have seen it before. Only other problem would be the switch that turns on the headlights is bad. Best way is to Test power going into the headlight when the low beams are turned on to rule out the switch.

2003 AVALANCHE DRIVER SIDE HIGHBEAM LIGHT BLEW. WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO REPLACE THE LIGHT BULB

Ok, They kinda hid this one, but start by Lifting the hood. Look at the radiator support just over the headlight. You should see two pins, shaped like an "L". twist those pins out so you can get a hold of them, and pull them out. The headlight assembly should then pull out, and you will be able to access the back of the assembly to disconnect the wire, and for removal of the bulb.

My Isuzu Rodeo O2 sensor light is on and I would like to fix the problem.Could anyone tell me where is that sensor located at?

There's also a circuit on the back of the instrument panel that causes the O2 lamp to light every so many miles- I guess its a way to remind you to change the sensor. To re-set the O2 warning circuit, you must remove the instrument panel and locate a set screw on the back of the green circuit board. Remove the screw from the receptacle it's in and relocate it to the receptacle next to it. This will re-set the warning light.
