Check your heater core inside your vehicle, now days their made so cheaply that they don't last long. I had the same problem that you're dealing with, no leaks to be found and discovered that my heater core was leaking inside the cab just enough to smell and I went thru 3 new ones in a week and a half.

If oil is geting in the coolant, you most likely have a leaking head gasket. there is one other item it could be if it has an automatic transmission, and that is the transmission cooler in the radiator, if the cooler is leaking it will allow transmission fluid to mix with the coolant.

sorry i still think its a gasket problem,or water ports---but without bringing it to yard for me to have a look its a bit difficult and iam in spain. These *** motors use a smaller rad cap with two seals in ,so it can draw the coolant back in on cooling, but iam of the opinion that its drawing in a slight water ingression causing the idle problem.Go on give it a birthday and pull the head off and check its level and not warped ,also the water ports are not dissolved to any extent.

Hi
The problem is most likely 90% head gaskets but could be intake manifold gasket leaking too. Intake gasket has to be checked when intake is removed. Might find problem there if not continue and remove heads. Bars Leak will not work.
may be oil feed to cylinder head replace gasket
