Once an automatic transmission starts slipping that is it, it must be tron down the system flushed of all clutch material and rebuilt, this requires a very high degree of training and skill, automatic transmission repair is a very specialized field and takes years to learn. If u plan on repairing this your self, flush the fluid out of the lines and cooler and then buy a factory rebuilt transmission and torque converter.

Will only pull in 4th gear and in 4 wheel drive

Automatic, or Standard? Last time transmission serviced? If auto, check fluid, if smells burnt, get serviced. However,it sounds like a problem in the linkage/s from the shift lever to the transmission and 4wheel controls.

Will wet clutch work again if run dry and now car wont move

what is a wet clutch?,. the A/T torque converter
the inside transmission wet, clutch packs
or the stick shifting master cylinder and slave
why not post year, swift, and what system you are working.
eg: my car wont move, got that.
my RPM tachometer races fast, but car wont go (called slip)
or my clutch pedal seems dead.
or my A/T CAR., transmission is no working right, say what?

we cant guess any of that.
just say whats up, fully, please.

What would cause my 1999 town & country not to move in any gear

Make sure that your axles aren't broken. If you have a broken axle the power would transfer to the wheel with the least amount of resistance (to the broken axle) therefore not propelling the vehicle. Also look at your fluid level and condition. It is possible that the transmission is slipping in which case you'd need a transmission/rebuild.

d: bad fueling.

that list works for all modern cars. if tranny is a M/T say so. now.

My jeep wont move in any gear

If your transmission is low on fluid it won't move the vehicle. Sounds like you had just enough fluid to get first gear going.
