I'm assuming you have a check engine light on and got a P0301 code. That is a misfire on cylinder one. It could be plugs or could be the ignition coil itself. If you have individual coil packs, swap the number one coil with the number 5 coil and clear the code. Drive for a while and see if the light comes back on. If it does and there is a code P0305, you know the coil is bad. If it is time to change the plugs do that as well. Use motorcraft plugs. Not autolites or anything. Only Motorcraft belong in newer fords. I'm not sure what engine or vehicle you have but some of the V6's had coil pack issues and a lot of the truck V8's have issues with the individual coil packs. One will go bad and you will replace it, then another will go bad, and so on like dominos until you have replaced all 8. Good luck.
