To do that, remove the bar that runs across the top of the radiator and disconnect it from the plastic fan shrouds, Remove the electric fans. Remove the air filter box, remove the lower radiator hose (put a pan under it...you will be draining the radiator.)Disconnect the upper radiator hose, and also the transmission lines. If there are any brackets between the radiator and the a/c condenser on top, unbolt them as well.
The radiator should lift straight up with a slight bit of maneuvering. You may want to change the order of removal on some items I listed but that is fine...I may have mixed a few up but all of them need to come out. Most people don't t take the top bar off and then cannot get the radiator out. that's the important part of this. everything should come off using little force if any. if something does not move, check for fastners you may have missed. Always replace the thermostat when doing coolant service. They are inexpensive and often fail from overheating and age.

I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, V-8. Yesterday, I was driving and it started overheating. Reserve and radiator were both full with antifreeze. We replaced the thermostat and still overheats. ...

check for blockages in the piping, this may be blocking the flow of the antifreeze.
Also check the coolant you are using it needs to be a 50-50 ratio of coolant and water in most cases. Please go by the manual.

Replace leaking radiator 2000 Grand Jeep Limited V8

Radiator removal is not that difficult but too long to write out. Pretty much it involves removing the brace above the radiator and any fans, hoses and lines attached to it. When re-filling do so with heater on full hot to allow coolant to circulate fully through system. I prefer to run engine to the point that temp is at about 200, then turn it off for a few minutes, the thermostat will then open and you can re-start and begin filling again.

2000 jeep grand cherokee limited edition

I don't know of any real proceedure, Just make sure its full and there is no air traped in the system, If there are any bleeders like around the thermostat housing, or any where in the cooling system open them up while you fill it to let any air to excape If not just fill radiator untill your sure you can't get any more in it before you start it.
