The flasher flashes fast when there is NO resistance on the line to the bulb. Could be a bad bulb, bad ground, bad connection, or broken wire. After a crazy day of spark-chasin', I found the wire that runs from the flasher (under the dash) all the way to the back left bulb was broken under the driver's seat. It was one, long whitish-yellow wire. I used an extension wire and did ohm checks along the whole thing until I found a spot by the driver's side where I got conductivity to the flasher. The I narrowed it down to the spot under the seat. I bypassed it with a new wire and then EVERYTHING worked: Signal, Brake lights, Emergency flashers.
That's a good place to start. It's not a fuse or not likely the flasher unit ($60) probably just a bad connection. Good luck!!

I think the socket for the light that is not flashing is slightly melted. the contacts are probably not touching the light bulb properly. you might be able to tug on the contacts to make better connect with the bulb

2011 Ford Edge Rear Left Turn Signal not working - Bulb and Socket confirmed good. Fuse Controlling both Left Front and Rear turn light confirmed good. Front Left turn light working fine.

The flasher is under the dash.If you turn on the signal listen for it's location.Turn on your 4 way flasher and see if the left rear light is flashing. If it's not then replace the bulb.If it still does'nt work after replacing the bulb check if there is power to the socket. Use a probe light. If no power to the socket. There is a break in the wire or worse the signal switch may be the culprit

I have the front left turn signal not working but the bulb is wotking fine when it is in normal use. I change the bulb but still same. The rear bulb iss blinking very fast when when I use the turn signal,...

when one bulb burns out, the other bulb blinks very fast. If the bulb is know to be good, then you probably have a fault with the signal circuit. Check for 12V at the load, (Bulb) if you have power there, then the bulb may not be making good contact in the socket. Doubt if the flasher is the problem..

1996 chev pickup - left rear turn signal does not work. Front turn signal is blinking fast. Have replaced bulbs and the lamp bases in taillight section. Right side is working fine. Could it be the flasher?

no it can not be the flasher. if bulbs and socket is good in left rear u may have no power or ground. need to check wiring to that lamp. also fast blinking is a normal condition when you have a lamp out

Where is the exact location of the hazard light flasher for a 1989 GMC Sierra C2500, and what is the possibility that it is the true problem behind the hazards not working? Beyond my hazards not working my...

Are you sure the right side bulbs all flash? You say you replaced all the bulbs? Why would you replace bulbs that were working? Did you have this problem before you replaced the bulbs, or after. The hazard flasher is down under the dash, left side, turn the signals on and follow the clicking noise. The hazard flasher and the turn signal flasher should be near each other, and are interchangeable. If it clicks fast, a bulb or a bad socket is usually the cause. These trucks have a lot of problems with the tail light circuit boards.

Jeep Liberty 2002 - I get a fast blink on the left turn signal (but a normal blink on the right). Where is the flasher located?

Normally when this happens you have a blown bulb on either the front or rear the fast blink is because with only one bulb working the flasher clicks it faster less of a load means faster blink.
