The screw that held it in place is still there but the plastic paneling being held by the screw has broken away from the panel. I have removed the old one but I can't figure out how to get the drivers seat adjustment control separated from the panel!!!!

SOURCE: remove plastic cover around top of steering column on '05 Accord

1. The wire you need are not going to be in the columm. They are going to be under the collumm, under the dashboard.
2. Also if you have a microchip in your key, the remote start will not work. Unless you take a spare key with a microchip in it, and tie it with a paperclip to amplify the chip, inside the steering columm or close to it. (because the microchip key doesn't necessarily need to be inside the ignition) so when you use the wireless starter, the computer will think the microchip key is being used.

SOURCE: driver power seat

Yes, that piece is called the "recline cover". You will need the trim color code from the vehicle identification plate on the inside driver's door frame to match the trim plastic color. This is going to be a dealer part or perhaps an ebay part but make sure the trim color is a match.

SOURCE: 2003 honda civic how to remove door panel

Step one Look at the inside door handle. Behind it you should see a little cover, You pop that off and there will be 2 phillips head screws behind it. remove them.

Pop out the door handle, and unplug the power lock plug,

Youll also have to take the door lock rod, by spinning the plastic door handle 90 degrees until u can wiggle it out.

next remove the sail panel( The little triangle shaped piece in the corner of the door on the top, ( may have a tweeter in it) ( it just pops out)

Next take a screwdriver (flat head) and pry off the cover of the door handle, there will be
2 phillips head screw behind it ( remove screws)

Unplug power window connector (big green plug)

Now just start gently pry the door panel off with a screw driver, see if u can peek behind the panel and see where the panel clips are, and pry near those areas

How do I install GM P/N 15098965?

Carefully pry the front plastic panel from the dash using a medium size flat screw driver and your fingers - this is a fairly large panel with cutouts for the instrument panel and dash controls, and is held to the dash by internal clips which can some effort to release. Start at the bottom and work your way around and be very careful - these panels can be fragile. Once pulled clear of the dash, you will see two screws holding the control - to replace the control, remove these and gently pull the control forward to get at the wiring and temperature control connections.

Replacing driver's side mirror on a 2004 Honda Pilot

If you're lucky, on the inside of the door, will be a triangular panel right behind the mirror that you can pop off. If you're not as lucky and it's one piece or the panel is blocked by the door panel, you'll need to remove the door panel to change it.

On the inside trim, you can remove screws (these screws may be covered by filler pieces or may be visible, or they may require you pry a plastic piece off that covers the screws) that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can remove the bolts holding the mirror onto the door

Replacing Passenger Window Motor

Hello, I have a 2004 Avl. I replaced the driver door window mechanism myself. You need to pry out the electric window controls with a dull blade as to not tear the vinyl. Disconnect the controls carefully. There are small release clips that hold the switch buttons onto the electric base. Then the arm rest, there is a long screw under the armrest. At the front towards the mirror there is a long screw under a round plastic snap cover. I believe it is a small metric bolt. Next grasp the bottom end of the door cover and pull with a sharp snap. Continue around the door panel gently pulling the snaps loose from their base. The door panel cover does not cantain screws only snaps. There is a clear plastic water barrior you need to be careful to peel without tearing and place on a clean flat surface with sticky side up. I had to replace the window track and motor all in one piece, can't just replace track. I purchaces the mechanism on-line parts store.
