i have changed out the entire front axel due to a striped pinion gear. so unless this axel had the same problem as my axel i don't see that being the problem. but i don't know much about this jeep or mopar.i have changed out the entire front axel due to a striped pinion gear. so unless this axel had the same problem as my axel i don't see that being the problem. but i don't know much about this jeep or mopar.

Sounds like your Carrier bearing is going out. This will leave you stranded if go's out compleatly. , But it is a easy fix, Should'nt take over 1 hr.labor at any shop. Everthing should'nt cost you over a hundred buck's, Good luc. to you.
Sounds like the speedo sensor needs to be replace on the transmission. I've had a similar problem with my Jeep with the sopeedo not working then work after the tranny heats up then after a period of time the needle started to jump when at 100 km or 60 mph. I changed the sensor and the problem went away. Good luck!
Front wheel bearings can be done at home rear wheel bearings will require a hydraulic press and an axle puller. Either job can be difficult depending on amount of rust and availability of tools. The front wheel bearings are an assembly and once the jeep is up on jack stands, with the tires, brake calipers, and rotors removed, it is only a matter of removing the axle nut and 3 bolts (which can be difficult depending on rust) holding in the old bearing assembly
not trying to be rude but do be sure the wheel is tight. a build up of corrosion on the wheel or hub could cause the wheel not to set n lug studs correctly. that would cause a knock noise and will shake the wheel
