I need a diagram for the firing order on a 2000 Ford Ranger XLT. I know that the firing order is 1-4-2-3-5-6 but I need to see the diagram for it.

anon post no history of car wow NO YEAR> no VIN.
It is no RANGER or is custom none OEM swap job.
. nor what is wrong, (cam changes or spark wires fell off)
no engine told at all (USA car?) (in liters or Cubic Inches)
the service manual covers that.

The F-nnn series goes back to 1973 and over 15 engines +++

but RANGER is a compact truck and is not F250 at all
V8 not found in RANGERS. (promised but not delivered)

The firing order should be 142526 the same as the 2.8 and 2.9 its basicly the same engine with a slightly larger bore

1-3-4-2 being 1 is at 1:30 or so. Mine works fine now

This is the firing diagram. I'm not sure why they show two coil rotation/positions?

The spark plug firing order is ( 1 - 4 - 2 - 5 - 3 - 6 ) The distributor rotor turns CLOCKWISE ( 1 - 4 - 2 - 5 - 3 - 6 ) The marked # 1 position on the distributor cap faces towards the firewall and slightly towards the passenger side The engine cylinders / spark plugs are numbered : passenger side of engine , front to rear , 1 , 2 , 3 and drivers side of engine , front to rear , 4 , 5 , 6
